The falls gained international recognition as a filming location for major movies, such as the 1988 hit 'Cocktail' and the 1963 adaptation of 'Lord of the Flies'. Adventurous visitors can swim through an underwater tunnel leading to a hidden cavern and hike along the Driver’s River to discover smaller, untouched basins. Its remote location has helped preserve the ecological integrity and tranquil atmosphere of the montane rainforest ecosystem.
