Miniatur Wunderland
Miniatur Wunderland, located in the historic Speicherstadt district, is the world's largest model railway exhibition and attracts millions of visitors from across the globe every year. Spanning an impressive area, it features meticulously detailed replicas of entire countries and regions, from the Swiss Alps to the spirited streets of Las Vegas. More than 16 kilometers of tracks connect various themed worlds where hundreds of trains operate fully automatically. A particularly fascinating feature is the day-night cycle, where thousands of tiny lights bathe the scenery in a magical glow every 15 minutes. The facility is constantly expanding, with new sections like South America or Monaco highlighting the technical perfection and incredible attention to detail of the model builders. As part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Wunderland seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with the historic ambiance of Hamburg's old warehouses.
