The Bosch plant in Stuttgart-Feuerbach is the flagship facility of Robert Bosch GmbH and has a history of over a century, dating back to 1910. It is globally renowned as the center for diesel technology and plays a decisive role in the development of modern injection systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. In recent years, amid the global mobility transition, the site has undergone a massive transformation and is now a pioneer for hydrogen technologies. Components for fuel cell powertrains are developed and produced in Feuerbach, making the site indispensable for the future of climate-neutral heavy-duty logistics. The premises also house central research departments focused on industrial digitalization (Industry 4.0) and novel manufacturing processes. With several thousand employees, Feuerbach remains the industrial heart of the Bosch Group and a vital engine for technological innovation within the Stuttgart metropolitan region.
