Bassin-Bleu is a series of three natural pools located in the hills northwest of Jacmel in southeastern Haiti. These basins, named Bassin Palmiste, Bassin Clair, and Bassin Bleu, are linked by a sequence of waterfalls that flow through a lush tropical landscape. The water's distinctive cobalt blue hue is caused by the reflection of sunlight on the mineral-rich limestone at the bottom of the pools. Geographically situated in the Sud-Est department, the site is a vital part of the regional watershed and plays a key role in local hydrology. Historically, the area has been associated with various local myths and legends involving water spirits, making it a significant cultural site in Haitian folklore. Today, it stands as a premier destination for ecotourism, renowned for its pristine environmental state and the surrounding dense tropical vegetation. Reaching the site involves a hike over rugged terrain, which has helped preserve the location's original and unspoiled character over the decades.

The trail leading to the cascades is somewhat rocky and uneven, requiring stepping carefully over roots and stones. The immediate pool area features large, slippery natural rocks.
