The group comprises Queen’s Royal College, Hayes Court, Mille Fleurs, Ambard’s House (Roomor), the Archbishop’s Palace, Whitehall, and Killarney (Stollmeyer’s Castle). The architectural styles range from Scottish Baronial and French Renaissance to Moorish influences. These mansions bear witness to the period's immense wealth and the diverse cultural influences present on the island. In recent years, several of these buildings have undergone extensive restoration and now house government offices or cultural institutions. They form one of the most photographed urban ensembles in the Caribbean and are an essential part of Trinidad's heritage.

Visiting
The Magnificent Seven are private mansions, so you can only view them from the outside. No admission is charged, and the area is always open; a pleasant walk around the Queen's Park Savannah gives the best perspective on these historic buildings.
Typical hours
There are no set opening hours as the mansions are visible from the street at any time. The best viewing is during daylight hours for safety and visibility, though evening strolls are also possible. The park itself is open 24/7, so you can pass by whenever you like.
Photography
Photography of the exteriors from the public sidewalk is allowed and encouraged. Be respectful of the residents' privacy and do not trespass onto the lawns. Early morning or late afternoon provides the best light for capturing the architectural details.
Time needed
Allow at least 30 minutes for a simple walk past all seven houses. For photography and detailed viewing, plan for about an hour. The total distance along the Savannah side is roughly 2 kilometers.

Getting there
The Magnificent Seven are located on the western side of Queen's Park Savannah in Port of Spain. You can reach them on foot from downtown, by taxi, or via public minibuses that stop at the Savannah. Parking is limited but available along the Savannah perimeter.
