Visiting
The Palacio Municipal in Panama City is the city hall in the historic Casco Viejo district. The building is open to the public, but usually only the lower areas and the inner courtyard are accessible.
Typical hours
On weekdays during office hours (roughly 8 am to 4 pm) the city hall can be entered. On weekends and holidays it is closed; then you can only see the facade from outside.

Exterior shots of the colonial facade are possible at any time and are very photogenic. Photography is usually allowed in the courtyard and hallways, but be considerate of the employees.
