The Gafadura Hut is an Alpine mountain refuge operated by the Liechtenstein Alpine Club (LAV), located at an elevation of 1428 meters above the municipality of Planken. Originally used as a princely hunting lodge, the building was renovated and inaugurated for mountaineers in 1968. The hut is situated on the western slopes of the Drei Schwestern (Three Sisters) massif, a prominent mountain range on the border between Liechtenstein and Austria. Hikers can reach the hut from Planken via a well-maintained forest road in about 90 minutes. From its terrace, visitors enjoy a sweeping view over the Rhine Valley across to the Swiss Alps. The hut serves as an essential base for more challenging treks to the summit of the Three Sisters or along the famous Fürstensteig path. During the summer season, it provides catering and overnight accommodation in dormitory style for climbers.
