Damen Shipyard Galați (Romania)

Weather…

Damen Shipyards Galați is the most advanced and versatile shipyard on the Danube, with a maritime history dating back to 1893. Since joining the Dutch Damen Shipyards Group in 1999, the yard has been transformed into a world-class facility capable of building the most complex naval and specialized vessels. It is the only yard in the region that produces sophisticated corvettes, offshore patrol vessels (OPVs), and even advanced research ships and icebreakers. With its deep-water access and massive docks, Damen Galați is a strategic pillar for both the Romanian Navy and international clients. It combines over a century of Romanian shipbuilding tradition with modern Dutch engineering and project management.
