Walter Thilo Deininger National Park is a crucial tropical dry forest reserve located on the coast of El Salvador in the La Libertad department. Spanning approximately 732 hectares, it is named after the German businessman who donated the land to the state. In 2021, the park underwent significant modernization to better integrate adventure tourism with nature conservation. New facilities for activities like ziplining, climbing, and mountain biking were established while maintaining ecological balance. Hiking trails provide access to pristine natural landscapes and viewpoints overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
