Getting there
The valley is typically accessed from the main entrance of Juwangsan National Park, which is well-connected by local buses. The trailhead starts conveniently near the Daejeonsa Temple.
Best season
Autumn is widely considered the best time to visit due to the memorable fall foliage against the rock walls. Spring also gives very pleasant weather and bustling green scenery.
Terrain & paths
The main path through the valley is flat, well-maintained, and boardwalk-lined, making it easy for walkers. More strenuous hiking trails branch off for those seeking to climb higher.
What to bring

Parking
A large, paid parking lot is available near the park entrance, a short walk from the temple. It fills up very quickly on autumn weekends, so arriving early is highly advised.

The main valley path is extremely safe and suitable for all ages. Hikers tackling the steeper side trails should watch their footing on rocky steps, especially after rain.
Time needed
Walking the main valley loop past the waterfalls usually takes about two to three hours at a leisurely pace. Adding peak hikes will extend your visit to a full day.
