Vard Braila is a major shipyard with a long tradition of building specialized and complex vessels for the global offshore and maritime industries. Located on the Danube, the yard has evolved from a general ship repair facility into a sophisticated construction site for hulls and fully outfitted vessels. As part of the VARD group (controlled by Fincantieri), the Braila yard works in close cooperation with other international sites to deliver high-end vessels, such as offshore supply ships and specialized ferries. The yard is a vital economic driver for the city of Braila, maintaining the region's historic connection to the river and the sea through high-quality engineering and craftsmanship.
