The best time to visit Oradea Zoo is spring (April-May) and early autumn (September-October), when temperatures are pleasant and animals appear more active. In summer, a morning visit is recommended to avoid the heat.

Early morning (8-10 AM) most animals are especially alert after feeding and show natural behaviors. Late afternoon (4-6 PM) is also a good time, as many species become active again.
Etiquette
Do not throw objects into enclosures or try to excite animals by tapping or shouting. Feeding animals by visitors is not allowed - zoo staff provide a balanced diet.
What to bring
