The Pietà Marina is a scenic stretch of waterfront within Marsamxett Harbour, renowned for its significant role in Maltese maritime history and its modern yachting facilities. Situated in a deep, sheltered creek, the area has served for centuries as a safe anchorage for various types of vessels. Notable features include the historic boathouses and the old Customs House, which stand as witnesses to the site's commercial past. Nearby landmarks such as the Sa Maison Fort and Villa Guardamangia add historical depth to the area. Today, the marina is dominated by modern infrastructure catering to leisure sailors who value its proximity to the capital, Valletta. The waterfront promenade is a popular spot for walking, offering unobstructed views of the opposing Floriana bastions. Pietà Marina also functions as a vital transport link between northern Malta and the harbour region, where the intersection of sea and urban life is particularly prominent.
