Industriepark Höchst in Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest and most modern chemical and pharmaceutical sites in Europe. The approximately 460-hectare area in the west of the city was once the headquarters of Hoechst AG and has developed into a dynamic multi-company site since restructuring in the 1990s. Today, about 90 companies are settled here, including global players such as Sanofi, Bayer, and Celanese. The park features a highly specialized infrastructure operated by Infraserv Höchst, including its own power plants, a high-performance water supply, and one of the continent's largest industrial wastewater treatment plants. Logistics are excellent due to its own port on the Main River, rail connections, and close proximity to Frankfurt Airport. As a major driver of innovation, the site employs around 22,000 people and invests hundreds of millions of euros annually in research and new production facilities.
