Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, also known as Peggy's Point Lighthouse, is one of the most iconic and photographed lighthouses in the world. Situated in a characterful fishing village on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia, it is located approximately 43 kilometers southwest of Halifax. The current structure was built in 1915, replacing an earlier wooden lighthouse to secure maritime navigation at the entrance to St. Margaret's Bay.
