- To experience the best glowing blue light, plan your visit on a sunny day between 11 AM and 1 PM.
- You cannot enter the cave on your own or swim in it. Entry is strictly controlled via small official boats that depart from Mezuporat bay on Biševo island.
- Most visitors arrive on an organized tour from Split, Hvar, or Komiža (Vis island). The tour gets you to Biševo, but you must buy the cave ticket separately on the spot.
- In summer, the wait to enter the cave can be over an hour long. Bring water, sun protection, and patience.
- Biševo island itself is quiet and beautiful. After buying your ticket, you can use the waiting time to swim or have a coffee at the beach in Mezuporat bay.
