Rukara

Rukara is a sector and a commercial center in the Kayonza district of Rwanda's Eastern Province. The locality is situated in an agricultural region known for the cultivation of bananas, beans, and maize. Rukara is particularly known as the site of the University of Rwanda's College of Education (UR-CE), an important campus for teacher training in the country.
