Weather…

The Palace of Culture in Iași is a monumental architectural landmark of the former Moldavian capital and a masterpiece of Flamboyant Neogothic style. Constructed between 1906 and 1925 on the site of the former medieval Princely Court, it was designed by the acclaimed Romanian architect I.D. Berindey. The palace features 298 rooms and covers a total area of over 34,000 square meters. It was officially inaugurated in 1925 by King Ferdinand I. The building is famous for its 55-meter-high clock tower equipped with a carillon of eight bells that plays the "Union Hora." Today, it houses the "Moldova" National Museum Complex, which includes four distinct museums: the Art Museum, the History Museum of Moldavia, the Ethnographic Museum, and the Science Museum. The Hall of Voivodes, showcasing portraits of Moldavian rulers, remains one of its most ornate spaces. Following extensive restoration completed in 2016, the palace continues to be the cultural heartbeat of the city.
