The interior houses a magnificent crystal chandelier, a gift from the People's Republic of China, which hangs above the cenotaph of 'Quaid-e-Azam' (the Great Leader). Ceremonial changing of the guard takes place daily, emphasizing national reverence for Jinnah. Visiting
Mazar-e-Quaid is a monument and mausoleum; you can enter the main hall to view the tomb. The surrounding gardens are open to the public for walks.

The mausoleum is usually open daily from 9:00 to 21:00 during summer and 9:00 to 19:00 in winter. Ceremony times may vary.
Photography
Photography is allowed inside the mausoleum, but flash is discouraged out of respect. Photographing the guards on duty is generally okay.
