Visiting
De Hoge Veluwe National Park is a public area open year-round. The visitor center, Jachthuis, and Kröller-Müller Museum are accessible from the inside.
Typical hours
The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset; exact times vary by season. The Kröller-Müller Museum is usually open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Photography
Photography is allowed throughout the park, both in nature and in the museums (usually without flash). Drones are not permitted without a permit.
Time needed
Allow at least half a day to enjoy highlights like the museum and nature. For an extended bike ride through the park, plan for four to six hours.
Combine with
Combine your park visit with a trip to the city of Arnhem or nearby Doorwerth Castle. The Veluwezoom National Park is also a great option.
Getting there
The park has multiple entrances, reachable by car via the A50. The main entrance at Hoenderloo is well signposted; buses also run from Apeldoorn and Arnhem stations.
