Weather…

El-Quba Palace in Cairo is Egypt's largest presidential palace by area and one of its most significant official state residences. Built during the second half of the 19th century, starting around 1867 under Khedive Ismail Pasha, it was originally used as a private retreat for the royal family. The palace is surrounded by magnificent gardens covering approximately 80 hectares (190 acres), featuring a diverse collection of rare plants and fruit orchards. Architecturally, it blends European classical styles with Oriental luxury, boasting grand ballrooms and ornate reception halls. Throughout its history, it has hosted major events, including the 1938 wedding of King Farouk and the funeral service of President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1970. While it remains a high-security official residence, sections of the grounds have recently been opened for select cultural events, offering a glimpse into Egypt's regal past.
