Visiting
The terminal grounds are strictly closed off for security reasons and not open to the public. From the nearby port quay, however, the large storage tanks and tanker berth are visible.
Where to view it
A good viewpoint is the pier at Mindelo harbor, from where the tank farm and loading of tanker trucks can be observed. From Monte Cara, an overview of the entire port area with the terminal is visible.

The terminal stores and distributes mainly diesel, gasoline, and kerosene for inter‑island transport and aviation. Products are not sold directly to end users; gas stations on the islands get their fuel from here.
