Visiting
The Krimml Water Worlds are an interactive experience center open all year. The visit includes both indoor exhibitions and outdoor play areas.
Typical hours
Opening hours vary by season; in summer the center is usually open from 9 am to 6 pm. Off-peak hours may be shorter, so check ahead.
Photography
Photography is expressly encouraged in the Water Worlds to capture the water installations and experiments. Some areas may splash - protect your camera.
Time needed
A visit to the Water Worlds takes about two to three hours, depending on how thoroughly children explore the stations. Allow extra time for the adjacent waterfall hiking trail.

Combine the visit with a trip to the Krimml Waterfalls, just a few minutes' walk away. The Hohe Tauern National Park Centre also gives interesting insights.
Getting there
The Krimml Water Worlds are located at the foot of the waterfalls, accessible by car via the Krimml federal road. Parking is available but often limited in summer.

Bring a change of clothes and a towel - the kids will get wet! Wellington boots are especially handy at the water installations.
