Getting there
Access to the lake is mostly through the bustling tourist city of San Carlos de Bariloche in the northern Patagonia region. Numerous roads lead directly to various sections of the beautiful shoreline.
Best season
The absolute best conditions for hiking and exploring the national park are during the southern summer between December and March, when temperatures are pleasantly warm and the days are wonderfully long.
