Die PCK Raffinerie in Schwedt/Oder ist einer der wichtigsten Industriestandorte in Ostdeutschland und sorgt seit ihrer Inbetriebnahme im Jahr 1964 für die Energieversorgung der Region Berlin-Brandenburg. Ursprünglich als Erdölverarbeitungswerk Schwedt gegründet, verarbeitet die Anlage heute bis zu 12 Millionen Tonnen Rohöl pro Jahr. Die Raffinerie ist über die Druschba-Pipeline direkt mit den Ölfeldern im Osten verbunden und liefert einen Großteil des Kraftstoffs für den internationalen Flughafen BER sowie fast alle Tankstellen in der Metropolregion Berlin. Mit der aktuellen geopolitischen Lage und der Energiewende steht der Standort vor einer historischen Transformation hin zur Produktion von grünem Wasserstoff und synthetischen Kraftstoffen. PCK ist nicht nur ein bedeutender Wirtschaftsfaktor für die Stadt Schwedt, sondern sichert durch seine komplexen Anlagen und die angeschlossenen Logistiknetzwerke die Versorgungssicherheit für Millionen von Menschen im Nordosten Deutschlands.

The PCK Refinery in Schwedt is a major oil refinery in northeastern Brandenburg, vital for the region's fuel supply. It provides fuel for much of Berlin and northeast Germany.
Ziyaret
The refinery is a secured industrial site and not open to the public. From the surrounding roads, especially the Oder bridge, you can see the impressive facility with its tanks and towers.

The best viewpoint is the bridge over the Oder River, offering a panorama of the entire refinery. From the Bundesstraße 2, you also get wide views of the plant site.
