Alisher Navoi National Park
Alisher Navoi National Park is one of the largest and most popular urban parks in Tashkent, named after the renowned 15th-century Uzbek poet. Spanning a wide area in the city center, it features a harmonious blend of cultural monuments and recreational spaces. At the heart of the park stands the imposing monument to Alisher Navoi, sheltered under a magnificent blue dome. The park also features a large artificial lake where visitors can enjoy boating during the summer months. Important state buildings, such as the Oliy Majlis (parliament) and the Abul-Kasim Madrasah, which now serves as a crafts center, are located in the immediate vicinity. Numerous alleys, canals, and fountains make the park a lush green oasis, particularly popular with families and wedding parties. It serves as a prime venue for national holidays and cultural festivals. In recent years, the park has undergone extensive modernization to balance modern leisure facilities with its historical significance.
