Jallo Park, also known as Jallo Wildlife Park, is one of the largest recreational parks in Lahore. Established in 1978, it covers an area of 192 hectares. The park was created with the aim of providing the citizens of Lahore with a green oasis for recreation and leisure. It features a Botanical Garden with an impressive collection of native and exotic plants. The park is also a wildlife sanctuary, with enclosures for animals like spotted deer and nilgai antelope. One of its unique attractions is the Butterfly House, the first of its kind in Pakistan, where visitors can observe hundreds of butterflies in a simulated natural environment. Additionally, there is a lake for boating, sports facilities, and numerous picnic spots, making Jallo Park a popular family destination.
