Msida Marina (Malta)

Weather…

Msida Marina, also known as the Msida Yacht Marina, is one of the largest and most sheltered yachting facilities in Malta. Tucked into the innermost creek of Marsamxett Harbour, its geographic position provides exceptional protection from all wind directions, particularly the strong northeast 'Grigal' winds. The marina features over 700 berths and can accommodate vessels up to 22 meters in length. Due to its central location near the University of Malta and Mater Dei Hospital, the area is highly accessible and spirited. Originally established as a state-run facility in the late 1960s, it is now privately managed and equipped with modern amenities, including individual water and electricity services for every berth. It is particularly popular for long-term wintering due to its proximity to the commercial centers of Ta' Xbiex and Valletta. The surrounding waterfront is lined with cafes and residential areas, making it a favorite spot for both the local community and the international sailing crowd.
