The ride to Maison David Neel involves wet asphalt, so plan for longer braking distances. Despite the wetness, the landscape remains green and the air is pleasantly fresh.
Winter cycling in Digne offers crisp mountain air, but warm gloves are a must. In the morning, we warm up in the cathedral before riding to Musee Promenade. The dinosaur exhibit is impressive even in winter. In the afternoon, we visit Alexandra David-Neel’s house. Finish your tour before 17:00, as the cold intensifies quickly with the sunset.
