Visiting
The AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa is the seat of the African Union and is usually not open to the general public. Only the conference area and entrance hall are accessible to visitors with an appointment or during special events.
Typical hours
Being a government building, there are no regular visiting hours. Tours are possible only by prior appointment arranged through the AU protocol department.

Photography is usually allowed in the entrance hall and conference area, but not in office spaces. For security reasons, always ask for permission before taking photos.
