- The easiest way to get around is the city bus connecting Novalja and Zrće beach, which runs very frequently throughout the night.
- To save money, buy drinks and snacks in the supermarkets in Novalja, as the prices at the beach clubs are considerably higher.
- Although it's a party beach, the island of Pag has a rich history. Visit Pag town to see the famous Pag lace and taste the local cheese.
- Most clubs charge an entrance fee, which varies depending on the DJ or event. It's a good idea to bring cash, as not all venues accept cards.
- The party season lasts from June to the end of August. Always check the festival schedules, as the biggest names in electronic music perform during this time.
🍽 Gastro
A famous hard sheep's milk cheese. Buy it from local markets or directly from producers in the villages around Pag island for the most authentic taste.
Pag lamb is a delicacy due to the salty pastures. Look for 'konobas' (traditional taverns) outside the main tourist zones that offer 'janjetina s ražnja'.
Enjoy the catch of the day at the restaurants in Novalja's harbour. Grilled fish or black risotto ('crni rižot') are excellent choices.
