Unity Park in Luganville is the primary green space and a vital public gathering venue in Vanuatu's second-largest city on Espiritu Santo. Located along the main boulevard parallel to the waterfront, the park serves as the stage for national celebrations, cultural festivals, and community sporting events. Historically, the grounds of the park were part of the extensive logistics hub utilized by Allied forces during World War II. The park's layout features expansive lawns, mature shade trees, and various monuments commemorating Vanuatu’s path to independence. It stands as a symbol of solidarity for the diverse island communities that reside within Luganville. In the evenings and during weekends, the park transforms into a lively social hub for families and local youth. Its strategic position near the main wharf provides visitors with an excellent vantage point to observe the daily maritime activities of the city.
