The Mosque of the Divinity in Dakar is an architectural gem situated directly on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam district. The building was constructed in 1992 following a vision received by Mohamed Gorgui Seyni Gueye and was officially inaugurated in 1997. The mosque is characterized by its two striking 45-meter-high minarets, which are visible from far out at sea and along the Corniche road. Its location at the base of a cliff in a small cove gives it a unique spiritual and tranquil atmosphere that attracts numerous worshippers and visitors daily. The facade is kept in pure white with green accents, adhering to classical Islamic design. The interior is beautifully decorated and provides ample space for hundreds of people to pray.
