Ausa Park
Ausa Park is the largest urban park in the Republic of San Marino, located in the municipality of Serravalle near the border town of Dogana. The park stretches along the banks of the Ausa stream, which serves as a vital natural watercourse in the northern part of the country. Historically, this area was characterized by marshy terrain before being reclaimed and developed into a public recreational space during the mid-20th century. Today, the park features a variety of tree species, including sycamores, willows, and pines, interspersed with jogging tracks and sports facilities. It serves as a crucial green lung for the densely populated Serravalle region, providing space for outdoor activities and community events. Its proximity to the Italian border makes it a significant ecological corridor. Ausa Park is frequently used for local festivals and sporting competitions, making it a hub of social and recreational life in San Marino.
