Veliky Ustyug

Veliky Ustyug is one of the oldest and most atmospheric towns in the Russian North, situated at the junction of the Sukhona and Yug rivers. It is internationally famous as the official residence of 'Ded Moroz' (Father Frost). His grand wooden palace, located in a pine forest just outside the town, is a magical destination for families year-round, bringing Russian fairytales to life with interactive tours and winter festivities.
