Kek Lok Si Temple is a remarkable feature of the geography and culture of Malaysia. A large Buddhist temple complex in Penang. It is one of the best-known temples in Malaysia. Construction began in 1890. Features a seven-story pagoda and a giant bronze statue of Guanyin. A major pilgrimage site for Buddhists from across the region.
