In addition to production, the company is involved in local development initiatives and employs hundreds of workers from the Kampot region.

What is this place?
The Chakrey Ting Cement Factory is one of the oldest and largest cement factories in Cambodia, playing a crucial role in the country's infrastructure development. It supplies cement to the construction sector for roads, bridges and buildings.
Visiting
The factory site is generally not open to the public, but the facilities are clearly visible from the surrounding main road. In rare cases, after prior arrangement, tours are arranged for groups or professional visitors.
Where to view it
The best view of the cement factory is from National Highway 4 near Kampot, which passes directly by the plant. The hills of Bokor National Park provide a distant view of the factory's smoking chimneys.

In the Kampot region, besides cement, agricultural products such as pepper (Kampot pepper), durian and prawns are grown. The famous Kampot pepper is a protected geographical product and available at local markets.
