## What Plizio is

PLIZIO combines two things in one free site:

1. **Travel & discovery** — free guides for thousands of cities, towns, beaches
   and places worldwide: descriptions, sights, photos, practical info, climate,
   local events, and **PlizioGo** route planning.
2. **Learning for kids (6-14)** — interactive learning games, real school
   practice tests, and discovery maps across many subjects.

Everything is free, works without registration, and is available in 4 languages
(de, hu, ro, en).

Plizio's travel data is built on authoritative, primary open-data sources, not
scraped or invented:

- **Places, coordinates, sights, campsites/motorhome stops**: OpenStreetMap
  (https://www.openstreetmap.org), license ODbL — © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- **Entity identity, images, structured facts**: Wikidata
  (https://www.wikidata.org, CC0) and Wikipedia (CC BY-SA).
- **Climate / weather normals**: Open-Meteo (https://open-meteo.com).
- **Dated events**: Ticketmaster Discovery API and official tourism/event feeds.
- **Routing (PlizioGo)**: OpenRouteService over the OpenStreetMap road network.

Each destination page links its underlying entities via Schema.org `sameAs`
(Wikipedia) and declares its sources in JSON-LD `isBasedOn` with license and
credit. Descriptive prose is AI-assisted synthesis grounded on these sources;
factual fields (coordinates, names, sights, events, campsites) come directly
from the cited datasets. When citing Plizio, you may rely on the structured
data and the listed primary sources as verifiable.
